Chapter 6:  Collaborative Projects

In this chapter, we will explore the use of Google Forms, Google Documents, and Google Presentations.

1)    Create a google account at:  https://www.google.com

2)    Create a new document.  In this document, begin a story.  
You can use some of the ideas presented at Story Starters:  http://library.thinkquest.org/J002344/StoryStarters.html

3)    Be sure to make your document public.  Create a page for Collaborative Projects in your Weebly Space.  On this page, place a link to your Story Starter Document.

4)    Create a Google form.  You can recreate an example from 70+ Google Forms for the Classroom  (http://edte.ch/blog/2008/08/23/10-google-forms-for-the-classroom/)

a.    Embed your form within your Weebly page:  Collaborative Projects.

5)    Create a Presentation using Google Presentation.  The content for this presentation should discuss how teachers can build international communities with iEARN, Global Schoolhouse, KidLink, and ThinkQuest.

a.    Embed your presentation within your Weebly page: Collaborative Projects.

Outcomes:
    1) A weebly webpage for your Google documents
    2) A link to your Story Starter.
    3) A Google Form embedded in your webpage.
    4) A Google Presentation embedded in your webpage.
